The following tools can help you find various collections and digital collections across the country and across the web.

ArchiveGrid
ArchiveGrid is a database that contains nearly a million collection descriptions from various libraries, archives, and museums and is a great tool to help you find and identify archival repositories locally and across the country. If you search by state, under the Massachusetts tab, you will find a list of state, university, and public archives.
National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives and Records Administration is the official repository for the nation's records, historical documents and materials. NARA has thousands of collections that span a variety of topics related to U.S. history and politics.
Access to Archival Databases (AAD)
AAD is is a search engine for some of NARA's holdings of electronic records.
The Archival Research Catalog (ARC)
ARC is an online catalog of NARA's nationwide holdings in the Washington, DC area, regional archives, and presidential libraries.
